Book Your Adventure
Public Cruises
Combine the natural beauty of Lake Champlain with the charm and comfort of our motor yacht, Loon, to enjoy an unforgettable experience out on the water. You may be sharing the boat with other parties, but the maximum capacity is six guests, so there is plenty of room for everyone. Bring your own food and drink!
Private Charters
Charter the entire boat for the perfect outing on Lake Champlain. Your party will have the boat to yourselves. Great for family gatherings, birthdays, staff outings, client appreciation, photo shoots, reunions, etc. Up to six guests & dog friendly. Bring your own food and drinks - we provide the ice, setup, and all of the cleanup!
Arrival Information
-
Please arrive 15 minutes before departure so everyone can board, be briefed on safety, and depart on time for the full experience. In courtesy to all who are looking forward to the full duration of the cruise, Loon cannot wait if you’re late, and refunds are not issued.
-
We are located at Ferry Dock Marina: 1 King St. Burlington, VT 05401.
Once you have arrived at the marina, walk between the Elbow Cay ship store and Spot on the Dock. Enter the “Public Access” dock on the left hand side (part of the Gas Dock) and head out toward the water. When you reach the podium and umbrella, take a left and walk down “A-Dock” until you reach Slip #A25 on your left.
Policies & Procedures
-
If you cancel your cuirse 7 or more days prior to your scheduled departure, you will receive a full refund. We cannot provide refunds for cruises canceled with less than 7 days notice. We are a small, seasonal business and we only have four months to earn our revenue for the year.
-
Sometimes we need to cancel cruises on Loon at the last minute because of bad weather. We know from experience that it is best to make the “go/no go” decision at the last minute. What was predicated to be a rainy day can suddenly have a good weather window for a couple of hours.
If we cancel any cruise due to bad weather, you will be given the choice to either reschedule or receive a full refund, whichever you prefer.
Children & Pets
-
Yes! We allow children ages 5 and up on our Public Day Cruises and Children ages 12 and up on our Public Sunset Cruises. There is no age restriction on our Private Charters. Children’s fares are the same as adult fares.
NOTE: By State Law children twelve and under must wear a Personal Flotation Device (PFD/life jacket) at all times while on the vessel. (We provide the PFDs) Young children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian.
-
Well-behaved dogs weighing 50 pounds or less are welcome on Private Charters. We do not allow dogs or other pets on our Public Cruises. We do not allow pets inside the main cabin and they must be kept under the control of their owners at all times. Keep in mind that while some dogs are natural “boat dogs” other may find the experience disquieting and might be happier at home.
